Dance‧Music‧Theatre
The act of separation is just around the corner...
Separating from Separation, a music dance theatre, expresses emotions through songs as well as dance and portrays stories about separation. By reciting, dancing, singing and moving, emotions that cannot be elaborated verbally are scattered to every corner of the stage – they touch the hearts and invoke sentiments.
Dance is never-ending; embedded meaning can never be fully deciphered. Too many separations in our lives. Sometimes we are not even aware of.
Programme Length
The running time of each performance is approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes without intermission.
Audience is strongly advised to arrive punctually. Latecomers and audiences who leave their seats during the performance will only be admitted to their own seats at a suitable break.
DancingAngels
DancingAngels was founded in 2005 by a group of dance lovers who are committed to serve the community. The dance troupe believes that Art = Life. Members actively transform their passion for dance into care and love for people around them, hoping to influence and move people through their performance so that the society can become warmer and more harmonious. Graduated from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (majored in Ballet), Founder and Artistic Director Andy Wong is a well-known dancer and choreographer in the Hong Kong arts community.
