Describes the explicit attempt of humans to control others,
which conveys the uselessness within an unescapable confinment.
You are invited to catach a glimpse of the participants who are floating in the choices made of unconsciousness,
and experience their trivialness.
Audiences aged 6 and above are welcome.
The running time of each performance is approximately 1 hour including an intermission of 20 minutes.
Audience is strongly advised to arrive punctually. Latecomers and audiences who leave their seats during the performance will only be admitted to their own seats at a suitable break.
Rex Cheng graduated from The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, majored in Chinese Dance. The former resident dancer for DanceArt Hong Kong is currently a freelance dancer. Cheng appeared in Human Internship, a dance choreographed by Justyne Li as part of the 'Springboard Showcase' Series organised by the Hong Kong Dance Alliance and The Rite of Spring choreographed by Dick Wong for Zuni Icosahedron. He also presented his choreography works, including Rehearsal, No.36, Tear Up / Gear Down, Bingo?! and On/Off? as part of the 'Real Showcase' programme for CCDC Dance Centre; he also choreographed The Butcher for the Emerging Artists Scheme of the Hong Kong Arts Development Council.
KT Yau graduated from The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, majored in contemporary dance. Yau was formerly a dancer for Y-Space and is currently a freelance artist. Some of her recent performances include On & On & Turn Turn Turn for Y-Space (2015), Diffusion of the Silence (2015), as well as Heaven Behind the Door in Hong Kong Arts Festival 2014 of 'Hong Kong Jockey Club Contemporary Dance' Series. Yau went to Israel to further her studies in 2016, taking up courses in and exchange ideas with the Vertigo Dance Company.
