Snowflakes are whirling through the air. For a moment you can’t even see your hand in front of your eyes. Covered with snow, the world looks entirely different. Everything is White and completely silent...! WHO or WHAT lies hidden underneath this white blanket?

Wi Wa Wit ('Wit' means 'white' in dutch) is a sense-stimulating dance performance about winter and all its facets. The performers use dancing, acting, live music and stage design to take the audience on a discovery journey. The children are seduced to watch, listen and feel. Audience will be taught the Winter Dance at the end of each performance, let’s explore together!
With an interactive session after each performance
Audiences aged 2 and above are welcome (Best for ages 2 to 6). Children must be accompanied by parents or adults.
Audiences may be seated on the floor. Comfortable clothing and shoes are recommended.
The running time of each performance is approximately 40 minutes without intermission.
Audience is strongly advised to arrive punctually. Latecomers and audiences who leave their seats during the performance will only be admitted at a suitable break.
‘Cheers!’ Series: Wi Wa Wit by Rauher Engel (The Netherlands)
Rauher Engel is a dance theatre company established in Rotterdam, the Netherlands in 2006. Its artistic director Dagmar Chittka from Germany always works with different guest dancers. Her works are a mix of dance, movement, play and acrobatics. Besides producing performances for children, Chittka also develops workshops for children which can stimulate their self-sensation, imagination and creativity.
