'Clowns' Houses is a black comedy similar to Topor's macabre pieces, or the movie Delicatessen with puppets perfectly animated by the founders of Merlin Puppet Theatre.'

Teatr dla Was, Poland

'…especially through the contrast between the static facial expression of the puppets and the turbulent sounds sphere the Merlin Puppet Theatre sparks its light.'

Nordbayern Newspaper, Germany

One building, five apartments and six lonely characters.

Merlin Puppet Theatre brought a combination of different puppetry techniques in this puppet theatre for adults.  There were six residents living at five apartments in the same building.  They lived with their fears, obsessions and loneliness in the prison-like dark houses.  They were trapped into their routines.  They were distanced from their dreams.  Is Clowns' Houses repeating our current form of modern living?

The running time of each performance is approximately 1 hour without intermission
