The performance will run for about 1 hour and 30 minutes including a 15 minute intermission.
Audience is strongly advised to arrive punctually. Latecomers will only be admitted during the intermission or at a suitable break.

A Hong Kong born young pianist and a Young Steinway Artist, Wong Wai Yin Vanessa obtained her Bachelor of Music degree with first-class honours from The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts and was awarded a full scholarship by the Hong Kong Jockey Club Music and Dance Fund to pursue a Master Degree at the Peabody Conservatory of Johns Hopkins University in the United States. Later on, she was awarded a full scholarship by the Yale School of Music and obtained the Artist Diploma. Her teachers include Gabriel Kwok, Hui Ling, Boris Slutsky and Boris Berman. She was also the recipient of the Lady Fung Scholarship as well as the Asian Cultural Council Scholarship.
Wong has been the recipient of international awards including being the youngest winner of the First Prize of the Southern Highlands International Piano Competition in Australia, Second Prize Winner of the 17th Hilton Head International Piano Competition in the United States and The Gold Medal winner in the 7th International Competition for Young Pianists in Memory of Vladimir Horowitz held in Ukraine.
Wong has given recitals in places including solo recital at the 39th Hong Kong Arts Festival in 2011, the opening recital of the Newport International Festival in the United States and “New Masters on Tour” series in Concertgebouw of Amsterdam, as well as concerts in Brisbane, Canberra, Bowral, Paris, New York, Washington, Chicago and Shanghai. She has also collaborated with the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, Hong Kong Sinfonietta, Hilton Head Symphony Orchestra in the United States, National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine in Kiev and New Haifa Symphony Orchestra in Israel. She was awarded in the Certificate of Commendation by the Secretary for Home Affairs in recognition of her outstanding achievements in international arts and culture activities.
