As
a
painkiller
against
the
ills
of
urban
development,
parks,
the
‘lungs
of
the
city',
provide
the
public
with
leisure,
green
and
spacious
environment
for
recreational
purpose.
They
act
as
an
exhibition
venue
for
monuments
and
statues
in
memoriam
of
the
history
of
sovereignty.
The
project
team
has
selected
several
parks
on
Hong
Kong
Island
as
the
starting
point
of
exposition
to
reveal
the
publicity
of
our
city
planning.
Audiences
can
discover
local
history
and
reflect
on
the
way
to
construct
a
more
open
and
participatory
city
by
reading
a
‘park',
provoking
our
imagination
of
‘urban
space'
in
public
life.
