Other than the specified dates (Note 1) and the weekly maintenance day(Note 2), the camp bays at Pui O Campsite are available for use by making on-site applications at the camp office. Camp places will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis. Applicants must be aged 18 or above and a holder of the Hong Kong Identity Card (for Hong Kong residents) or valid travel documents (for non-Hong Kong residents). Each successful applicant will be assigned one camp place for a period of not more than 6 consecutive nights or till the weekly maintenance day (whichever is the earlier). Campers should check in no earlier than 11:00 am, and check out before 10:00 am on the day of departure. |
To facilitate the booking of camp bays by local residents and ensure the effective management of campsite facilities, LCSD has implemented the advance booking arrangements for camp bays at Pui O Campsite for Hong Kong residents during the Lunar New Year holidays, Labour Day and National Day.
Hong Kong residents may submit their application forms according to the advance booking arrangements. The 54 camp bays in the campsite will be allocated by ballot. Each applicant may only book one camp bay for a period of not more than 4 consecutive nights. Applicants are required to produce their identity card and the Notification of Acceptance/permit for use of the campsite for verification when checking in. If there are remaining camp bays available for use, residents and tourists can make on-site applications at the camp office on a first-come-first-served basis.
Hong Kong residents may submit their application forms within the submission dates for advance booking. The completed Application Form for Use of Pui O Campsite managed by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department should be submitted in person, by post or by email (email address: pocbooking@lcsd.gov.hk) before the deadline to the Islands District Leisure Services Office of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department at Room 622, 6/F, Harbour Building, 38 Pier Road, Central, Hong Kong.
