Our Frontier is a Nice Place by Song and Dance Ensemble of Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps

A project under the Belt and Road Initiative.  The Song and Dance Ensemble of Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps will showcase the splendor of the colourful Chinese ethnic dances.

Uyghur dance: The Borderland is as Beautiful as Jiangnan, Fragrant Breads, Young Women Picking Grapes, Dancers at Sunset, Plate Dance and Dolan Dance
Kazakh dance: Beautiful Images along the Yili River, Blissful Days
Tajik dance: Drumming in the Plateau
Uzbek dance: Bell Dance
Tartar dance: Embroidery
Chinese ethnic dance: Beautiful Images along the Silk Road
Singing: Homeland in My Heart, Beautiful Xinjiang and Our Xinjiang is a Fine Place

The running time of each performance is approximately 1 hour 45 minutes without intermission.

Founded in 1949, the Song and Dance Ensemble of Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps is a provincial-level performing arts group named by the State; it is now over 50 years old.  The cast comprises performers of different ethnicities including Han, Uyghur, Kazakh, Hui, Mongol, Manchu, Russian, Kyrgyz.  For the past six decades, the Ensemble has performed in its motherland, dozens of countries and locations around the world.  The troupe's artistic merits are highly praised by the audience wherever they perform.  It has won more than 100 trophies within Xinjiang and from national contests.  It is currently the largest performance troupe under the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps.
