Acrobatics x Theatre ~✧ Asia premiere✧
Passengers
Departure vs. transit vs. arrival│Chance vs. choice vs. destiny│Familiar vs. foreign│Past vs. future
We speed through lands all the while staring out the window, at the reflection of our very own eyes superimposed upon the shifting landscape...
The production takes train travel as the story background, a series of vignettes tells the unique stories of fateful encounters inside the cabin, a community of strangers with one thing in common: they all have somewhere to go. Passengers on this train express their dreams through the exuberance of their bodies. The astounding skills like the silks, flying trapeze, juggling and hula hoops demonstrate the physical artistry and beauty of the performers. Passengers seamlessly combines dance, theatre, acrobatics, music and projections, celebrating the balance and the beauty of interpersonal relationships. Intertwining the railroad and human experience where we transition from farewells, new beginnings to reminiscences.
The beauty and ingenuity of this show make it a must-see for all audiences. ─The Harvard Crimson, USA
