Spanning the decades, the show tracks how various technological products seamlessly integrated into the fabric of daily life. From the advent of computers to televisions, video games, and mobile phones, it is a world where people are constantly connected online yet often feel distanced from one another.
DEMO, Elegy of the moment tells the story of how an ordinary family lives through and gets accustomed to navigating the technological era from the 1980s to the present. As the storyline unfolds, it prompts us to reflect on whether technology has led us to inadvertently neglect the people and things that matter most in our lives.

The running time of each performance is approximately 1 hour without intermission. Meet-the-artist session will be conducted after each performance (In Spanish with Cantonese and English interpretation).
Members of the audience are strongly advised to arrive punctually. Latecomers and those who leave their seats during the performance will only be admitted and allowed to return to their seats respectively during the intermission or at a suitable break. The presenter reserves the right to refuse admission of latecomers, or determine the time and manner of admission of latecomers.

Mask Theatre Workshop by La Buena Compañía (Spain)
Mask actors breathe life into characters through expressive gestures and the eloquent use of masks without speaking. This workshop aims to introduce the basics of mask performance and the essential techniques of mask acting without words. Participants will have a chance to experience wearing masks and improvising.
La Buena Compañía of Spain was co-founded by stage director Chema Caballero and psychologist/professional dancer Ángela Bodega in 2014, with family and children as their target audience. The arts group uses dance and puppetry to present their stories. Their work is distinguished by their focus on addressing socially relevant issues.
Over the years, the company has participated in various arts festivals such as Hidalgo Puppet Festival (2022), South Palma of Rio Theater Fair, and Malaga International Puppet and Object Festival (2020).
DEMO, Elegy of the moment received the 2022 LORCA Award for Performing Arts of Andalucia for Best Original Music. The artistic team was made up by independent professionals coming from different disciplines, such as Sharon Fridman, winner of the 2019 MAX Award for Best Choreographer, and José Dault, winner of the 2018 MAX Award for Best Show.

Half-price tickets available for full-time students, senior citizens aged 60 and above, people with disabilities and the minder and Comprehensive Social Security Assistance (CSSA) recipients (Limited tickets for CSSA recipients available on a first come, first served basis). Discount for full-time students is also applicable to children aged 6 and under. Concessionary ticket holders must produce evidence of their identity or age upon admission.
