'Cheers!' Series: Schërzo by Släpstick (The Netherlands)

An UPROARIOUS COMEDY that shatters conventions by MISCHIEVOUS MAESTROS in the realm of classical music!

A clown-esque concerto for the ages, in which classical repertoire glissandos into a bacchanal of comical mishaps and absurdity. Neither foppy-wigged composers nor their magnum opus is safe from this buffoonery. Behold as a marble bust of Beethoven comes alive and challenges his fellow sculptures to a yodeling battle-royale! Gasp in amazement as the ghost of George Gershwin accompanies a flotilla of rolling instruments - an entire symphony orchestra played by only five musicians and led by an inflatable conductor! It's Chaplin meets Tchaikovsky, Buster versus Bernstein, and Groucho Marx does Mozart, all rolled up into one raucous oeuvre. Schërzo is sure to be an absolute triumph!

Half-price tickets available for senior citizens aged 60 or above, people with disabilities and the minder, full-time students and Comprehensive Social Security Assistance (CSSA) recipients.  Limited tickets for CSSA recipients available on a first come, first served basis. 

Concessionary tickets are also applicable for children aged 6 or under. Concessionary ticket holders must produce evidence of their identity or age upon admission.

For each purchase of standard tickets for different stage shows in the ‘Cheers!’ Series, the following concession applies:

10% off for any 2 programmes; 15 % off for any 3 programmes; 20% off for 4 or more programmes.

• 'Cheers!' Series Group Booking Discount

For each purchase of standard tickets for stage show(s) in the ‘Cheers!’ Series, the following concession applies:

10% off for 4-9 standard tickets; 15% off for 10-19 standard tickets; 20% off for 20 or more standard tickets. 

• 'Cheers!' Series Family Package Discount

20% off on standard tickets for each purchase of 2 standard tickets and 1 student concessionary ticket of the same stage show.

Special Notes

• Patrons can enjoy only one of the above discount offers.  Please inform the box office staff at the time of purchase.

• For each concessionary ticket for people with disabilities, the customer can purchase one ticket with the same concession for the minder.
