Experience The Present of Jazz Improvisation and The Moment of Finding Inner Peace
The “Jazz Up” Series: The Present - Jazz Festival of an Inward Journey has already came to a perfect conclusion. Curated by jazz guitarist and composer Teriver Cheung, the programme features a number of young local jazz musicians working in collaboration with artists from different disciplines. Through concerts, mindfulness experiences and tea workshops, the performers make use of the newly installed immersive sound system at Kwai Tsing Theatre to allow the audience to experience and appreciate jazz from a whole new perspective. You can now enjoy the excerpts of the workshops and concerts through the two-episodes of this online programme through interviews with the artists involved. They shared their views on their creative concept and process, allowing the audience to re-experience the charm of jazz improvisation.
