"Hong Kong Artists" Series: Piano Duo Recital by Stephen Wong and Amy Sze【Programme Cancellation and Ticket Refund Arrangement】
Since one of the performers is unable to perform as planned, "Hong Kong Artists" Series: Piano Duo Recital by Stephen Wong and Amy Sze scheduled for 2 November 2024 (Saturday) at the Theatre of Hong Kong City Hall has been cancelled. The arrangement of ticket refund for the performance is as follows:
For payment made by Visa, Mastercard, American Express, UnionPay, Alipay, WeChat Pay or mobile payment through electronic wallet where applicable:
Refund shall automatically be handled by Maoyan through the same method previously used to purchase the ticket according to the latest record of URBTIX in around 60-80 days.
For payment made by Cash (HK currency only), Octopus or FPS:
Please apply your refund with original ticket intact(s) (with stub) at the URBTIX Maoyan Customer Service Centre during office hours from 8 November 2024 (Friday) to 7 February 2025 (Friday). Upon the receipt of returned tickets, refund will be deposited to the designated bank account provided by the ticket holders via FPS or bank transfer.

The performance will run for about 1 hour and 30 minutes including a 15-minute intermission.
Members of the audience are strongly advised to arrive punctually. Latecomers and those who leave their seats during the performance will only be admitted and allowed to return to their seats respectively during the intermission or at a suitable break. The presenter reserves the right to refuse admission of latecomers, or determine the time and manner of admission of latecomers.
The programme does not represent the views of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department.

Stephen Wong
Born in Hong Kong, Stephen Wong was trained at the Royal College of Music in the United Kingdom and received his Master of Music degree at the McGill University in Canada. His teachers include Tu Yue Sien, Margaret Lynn, Patricia Carroll, Ruth Gerald and Dale Bartlett. He collaborated with McGill Symphony Orchestra, Les Grand Ballet Canadiens de Montreal and also performed in the Rome Chamber Music Festival. Wong has performed throughout Asia, including Mainland China, Macao, Japan and Taiwan. Wong is a desirable pianist for both solo and ensemble concerts including collaboration with local pianists Josephine Cheung, Kawai Chan, and Verna Yeung; vocalists Nancy Yuen and Ella Kiang; clarinetist Martin Choy; and ensembles Hong Kong Voices, Ella Kiang Singers and The Learners Chorus in Hong Kong. He also performed at “Art, Culture and Music at the Airport” in 2017-2019, co-presented by Extension and Continuing Education for Life of The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA) and Hong Kong International Airport.
Amy Sze
Amy Sze holds a Doctor of Musical Arts and a Master of Music degree from the Eastman School of Music, where she was awarded the prestigious Performer's Certificate. Her teachers include Gabriel Kwok, Nelita True, and John Perry. Sze has also won many prizes and awards throughout her career, with global engagements to perform. As a concerto soloist, she has performed with the Texas Fort Worth Chamber Orchestra, the Eastman Symphony Orchestra, the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, the Hong Kong Sinfonietta, among many others. She has also performed in recital and as a chamber musician at major international festivals such as the Aspen Music Festival, the Cliburn Piano Institute, the Harbin Summer Music Festival, and the Salzburg Mozarteum Academy. She was invited to perform in the Beethoven Piano Sonatas Marathon in Vienna as part of the first Hong Kong-Vienna Music Festival, where she played alongside other celebrated pianists from different parts of the world. In 2022, Sze had the honour of participating in the 25th Anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong SAR and performing for President Xi Jinping and his wife during their visit to Hong Kong.
