Music genius J.S. Bach will appear in a talk show and share about his life as a musician.
Guided concert ‘The Star Bach’ features acting by Caleb Woo and Jordan Cheng with performances of J.S. Bach's music by City Chamber Orchestra of Hong Kong, guest soprano Colette Lam and child prodigy pianist Britta Tellvik. Programme includes famous excerpts from J.S. Bach's Violin, Piano and Brandenburg Concertos, Cello & Orchestral Suites and Cantatas.
Audiences aged 3 and above are welcome.

Founded in 1999 by Artistic Director and Principal Oboist Leanne Nicholls, City Chamber Orchestra of Hong Kong (CCOHK) is one of Asia’s leading chamber orchestras and one of Hong Kong’s most dynamic arts entities. Members are professional musicians who perform a wide range of chamber-orchestral styles from Baroque to Jazz. World-class conductors and artists have performed with CCOHK including Sir Neville Marriner, Sir James Galway, Dame Evelyn Glennie, Dame Emma Kirkby, Sir Thomas Allen, Christian Lindberg, Sarah Chang, Mario Brunello, Julian Lloyd Webber, Branford Marsalis, Lise de la Salle, Vladimir Ashkenazy, Edgar Meyer, Vienna Boys’ Choir and The King’s Singers. CCOHK has also shared the stage with stars and celebrities including Hayley Westenra, Richard Clayderman, Robin Gibb, Katherine Jenkins, Olivia Newton-John, Dame Edna Everage, Sandy Lam, Grasshopper and Hacken Lee.
In Hong Kong CCOHK has performed for RTHK Radio 4, Musicarama, Hong Kong Ballet, Le French May Arts Festival and The Hong Kong International Piano Competition. Additional highlights include tours to Italy and China, collaborations with the Swedish Voices Chamber Choir, the Warsaw Boys Choir (Poland) and Choeur Britten (France), and Celtic fusion concerts with The Whistlebinkies and Irish piper Davy Spillane. Several new commissions have been created for the orchestra by composers Samson Young, Joyce Tang, Mao Yuan, Alexander Prior, Dobrinka Tabakova and Richard Harvey. In addition to hosting masterclasses and Kids Sunday Soirées, CCOHK has been at the forefront in producing new multi-media programmes aimed at engaging, inspiring and educating Hong Kong’s next generation of music lovers. These include The Snowman & The Bear, The Magic Jungle and the highly successful orchestra-theatre spectacular Bug Symphony. CCOHK’s CDs include an internationally acclaimed release with Danish recorder virtuoso Michala Petri on OUR Recordings. French conductor Jean Thorel was appointed chief conductor from 2008 to 2016.
