Renowned local musician Andrew Tuason will take the stage with the Andrew Tuason Orchestra (ATO) to perform 40 classic easy-listening and film songs composed or arranged by renowned film and television music composers, Percy Faith and Henry Mancini, paying tribute to the two great musicians with ethereal melodies and rhythms. Faith and Mancini have composed many iconic and timeless work. Each arrangement is beautifully harmonized. Tuason dedicated over two months to adapting each arrangement with his own touch, ensuring to capture and deliver the authentic sound of these two greatest music icons of our lifetime.

Andrew Tuason (Music Director)
A renowned local music composer, arranger, and musical director, Tuason received his classical training under the concert Pianist Maestro Fredrick Choi. Mentored by Joseph Koo, Tuason entered the pop music scene in the 1980s and has been the producer and music director for notable pop artists including Andy Lau, Jacky Cheung, Jackie Chan, Alan Tam and Coco Lee. Many productions under his record label went to the top-selling Cantopop albums in the 1990s. Tuason has received numerous awards, including the Best Arranger Award at the 10th Top Ten Chinese Gold Songs Awards and the 2006 TVB Jade Solid Gold Best Ten Awards Presentation, as well as the Best Composer Award at the 2009 Guangzhou Pop Music Award. In 2011, Tuason received the Best Producer Award at the Global Chinese Music Award for producing Jacky Cheung’s jazz album Private Corner, of which he was also one of the arrangers for the album.
Andrew Tuason Orchestra
Andrew Tuason founded the Andrew Tuason Big Band in early 2021, with the objectives of bringing the sound of big band music back to Hong Kong’s mainstream music scene, and to introduce the beauty of the big band sound to more audience. The Band consists of 20 members, including 13 brass musicians and 7 percussionists and received critical acclaim playing at the grand retirement concert series for Ray Cordeiro (Uncle Ray). This time, Tuason combines a trimmed size of the Band together with a 22-piece full strings ensemble to form the Andrew Tuason Orchestra, with a view to achieving the authentic musical style of the greatest film and television music composers Percy Faith and Henry Mancini.
Maria Rosa Tuason (Guest Singer)
Maria Rosa Tuason was the champion of the Ang Bagong Kampeon singing competition of Manila, Philippines in 1985 and the winner of the English Through Songs singing contest organised by RTHK in 1987. Maria Rosa Tuason performed at the Hong Kong Hilton Hotel as a house singer with the Bading Tuason Band from 1988 to 1995. She also performs with Andrew Tuason for commercial recordings and as backup vocalist.
