Peng Chau Sports Centre

Introduction

Peng Chau Sports Centre is located at Peng Chau Municipal Services Building, 6 Po Peng Street, Peng Chau which is adjacent to Peng Chau Pier. The Sports Centre was opened in December 1991. A wide variety of sports facilities are available to be booked by individuals or groups during opening hours. Besides, recreation and sports programs are organized each month for public participation.

Facilities

  • A multi-purpose arena which can be used as a basketball court / volleyball court or four badminton courts
  • 1 multi-purpose activity room with 115 M2 (Ancillary facilities: Wall mirrors, dance bars, sound equipment and gymnastic mats)
  • 1 fitness room of 101 M2
  • 2 squash courts covering an area of 62 M2 each are provided. They can be converted into table tennis rooms or multi-purpose activity rooms. (Ancillary facilities: Sound equipment and gymnastic mats)
  • Men’s and ladies’ changing rooms and toilets
  • Barrier Free Facilities: Accessible Toilet and Changing Room, Accessible Lift (with Assistive Listening System), Tactile Guide Path, Visual Fire Alarm System, Braille Directory Map/Floor Plan


Opening Hours

8am to 11pm daily (except maintenance days)


Maintenance Day

8am to 1pm on the 2nd & 4th Monday of each month
(If a maintenance day falls on a public holiday, it will be rescheduled to the next working day.)
