Junior Kayaking

Small kayak specially designed for youngsters, will be used to teach the basic kayaking skills. Since it has a round-bilged hull, youngsters can move in a stable manner and manoeuvre the kayak more easily. Participants can therefore learn the basic skills more easily and their interest of learning can be enhanced. The training programme comprises Junior Kayak Starfish, Sea Horse, Seal, Sea Lion and Walrus Awards. Instructors will, through various games and activities, teach participants some basic paddling strokes so that they can manoeuver the crafts easily and move forward, sideways or backward as they like.
