Transportation

 

• Scheduled shuttle buses are provided to take campers and programme participants to and from the Sai Kung Tang Shiu Kin Sports Ground. (Remarks: No transportation will be provided to craft hirers unless they have registered as the day or tent campers of the Centre.).
• Participants in water sports training courses: Scheduled shuttle bus is provided to the water sports programme participants from Sai Kung Tang Shiu Kin Sports Ground to the Centre. The bus will depart at 8:30 am and return at 4:45pm sharp in normal circumstance. As and when necessary, the Centre has the right to change the aforementioned shuttle bus schedule and notify the participants in advance. (Note: The above course participants have priority in use of the shuttle bus service. Individual craft hirers may also be allowed to use the services upon seat available & applying for campers at the Centre’s discretion.)
• (Only applicable to Junior Training Courses) Scheduled shuttle bus is provided to the water sports programme participants only. If a participant is accompanied by one parent/guardian, please call 2792 6810 to contact the Centre staff 7 days before the activity to reserve a seat for the accompanist. If there are more than one accompanist, please submit the form in the link provided (https://www.lcsd.gov.hk/en/watersport/common/doc/ApplicationFormForTheAccompanists_EN.pdf) with a cheque to Chong Hing Water Sports Centre by mail before 7 days of programme commencement date for arrangement of transportation. Please send a cheque payable to "The Government of Hong Kong SAR". The fee for each accompanist is HKD 7 per day.
• Day/Tent Camper's: please gather at the public car park of Sai Kung Tang Shiu Kin Sports Ground before the designated time below and take the shuttle bus to and from Sai Kung Tang Shiu Kin Sports Ground and Chong Hing Water Sports Centre.
  Day Camp — Check-in: 9:30 am; Check-out: 4:45 pm
  Tent Camp — Check-in: 2:30 pm; Check-out: 12:30 pm (of the following day)
• Take bus no. 94 or 96R to Pak Tam Chung, Sai Kung, and walk along Man Yee Road for 75 minutes to the Centre, or hire a taxi or “kaito” (ferry) at Sai Kung Pier to the Centre.

Remarks:

No parking space is available for craft hirers and programme participants, day and/or tent campers. Chong Hing Water Sports Centre is located inside the restricted zone of the Sai Kung Country Park. Craft hirers, programme participants and/or campers who intend to drive to the Centre should park their vehicles at Pak Tam Chung Public Car Park near the gate of the restricted zone, and then take taxi to reach the Centre.
