“(Helen Lai’s) style resembles that of Song dynasty poet Li Qingzhao. Her delicate and sensitive touch makes her unique in the Chinese dance scene.” — Lin Hwai-min

“(Helen Lai’s) works are full of imagery. The dancers’ styling and movements are imaginative, while her arrangements of scenes, use of rhythm and coordination of audio and visual elements often create unexpected experiments.” — Lo Wai Luk, dance journal/hk
