A Festival of Lights • A Feast for the Senses
For many people, their most vivid and wonderful memories of Hong Kong come from their taste buds. Due to the twist and turns of its history and its multicultural population, Hong Kong’s multi-faceted cultural character is best exemplified by its diverse range of cuisines and flavours. The Michelin Guide to Hong Kong and Macau has classified many of Hong Kong’s everyday snacks as Michelin-starred cuisine, in recognition of the city’s world-class gourmet position.
The Hong Kong Lantern Festival will feature lanterns modelled after different kinds of famous Hong Kong everyday’s food, including Hong Kong style milk tea, egg tarts, curry fish balls, rice noodle rolls, poon choi, and cart noodles. Visually stunning and mouth-wateringly enticing, the festival is sure to work up your feelings and imagination of Hong Kong.
