Barrier Free Facilities

The Sai Wan Ho Civic Centre was temporarily closed from April 2022 for the renovation and improvement project and is expected to provide professional services for you in mid-2025 with a brand new look.　Updated facility information will be announced in due course.

To facilitate the general public with different needs to participate in cultural and arts activities, Sai Wan Ho Civic Centre provides the following barrier free facilities and services for people with disabilities:
Public Area:
  • Automatic door and ramps for wheelchair users at the main entrance
  • Enquiry Counter with height suitable for wheelchair users and induction loop system for hearing-impaired
  • Tactile-braille indicators in the passenger lifts
  • Tactile guide path for visually-impaired
  • Braille and tactile map at foyer for visually-impaired
  • Visual display board at foyer for hearing-impaired
Theatre:
  • Designated space convenient for wheelchair users
  • Accessible toilet
  • Induction loop system for hearing-impaired
Box Office:
  • Ticket dispensing machine with height convenient for wheelchair users
  • Induction loop system for hearing-impaired
