Chiming Ceremony

The Chiming Ceremony to commemorate the centenary of the Former Kowloon-Canton Railway Clock Tower Bell was concluded successfully on 9 December 2021. At six o’clock in the evening, the Bell started to report time with its chimes once again at the Tsim Sha Tsui Waterfront. Welcome to revisit the historical moment here.

The revived chimes not only rekindle fond memories of the past, but also create precious moments of the present. Let the lasting peals rejuvenate the society and brighten the surroundings of the Clock Tower. From now onwards, the Clock Tower will chime hourly from eight in the morning to midnight.
