Tell the Story

	1915 The Kowloon Terminus and the Clock Tower were erected in Tsim Sha Tsui. 1921 The Clock Tower started providing time service with the clocks and the bell installed in March.
1941-45 The operation of the clocks was suspended during the Japanese Occupation.   1950 The use of the bell discontinued because of the unsynchronised clocks and chime.
	1978 The Kowloon Terminus was demolished, with the Clock Tower remained still.   1986-89 The Hong Kong Cultural Centre was built next to the Clock Tower at the former location of the Terminus.
1990 The Clock Tower was declared a monument for its historical interest and architectural merit.   2010 The bell returned to the Clock Tower for display.
	2021 The Clock Tower celebrates the centenary of its bell.
