RULES OF COMPETITION

 

About the Hong Kong Flower Show

The Hong Kong Flower Show 2019 (the Show) presented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department will be held in Victoria Park for ten days between 15 March and 24 March 2019. The opening hours of the Show are from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm. The Show features “When Dreams Blossom” as its theme and Chinese Hibiscus as its theme flower.

Method of Entry

1.	The competition comprises 15 sections, including: Plant Exhibit Competition (Potted Plant Growing and Nursing) Section I  “Orchid (Excluding Chinese Cymbidium)” Section II  “Chinese Cymbidium” Section III  “Potted Plant” Section IV  “Cactus and Succulent” Section V  “Foliage and Carnivorous Plant” Section VI  “African Violet” Section VII  “Bonsai Type Plant” Plant Exhibit Competition (Flower Arrangement) Section VIII  “Floral Arrangement in Western Style” Section IX  “Floral Arrangement in Oriental Manner” Section X  Jockey Club School Section “Floral Art by School Children” Plant Exhibit Competition (School Potted Plant Growing/Nursing and Garden Plot) Section XI  Jockey Club School Section “Primary School Potted Plant Growing/Nursing Competition” Section XII  Jockey Club School Section “Secondary School Potted Plant Growing/Nursing Competition” Section XIII  Jockey Club School Section “School Garden Plot Competition” Plant Exhibit Competition (LCSD Garden Plot) Section XIV  “LCSD Western Style Garden Plot Competition” Section XV  “LCSD Oriental Style Garden Plot Competition”
2.	No entry fee is required.
3.	A quota is set for each section.  Admission by first-come-first-served.  Details refers to the prospectus.
