In view of the latest developments, Hong Kong Flower Show 2020 (including “Give the Flowers a New Home!” Jockey Club Flower Re-planting Scheme) had been cancelled in order to reduce social contacts and the risk of the spread of the novel coronavirus in the community.
Every year after the Hong Kong Flower Show, suitable flowers remaining in the showground are sent to LCSD parks for replanting. The “Give the Flowers a New Home!” Jockey Club Flower Replanting Scheme was introduced in 2014 to encourage replanting in the community and raise public environmental awareness. It returns this year, with the continuous support of Major Sponsor, The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, applications are being invited from schools, environmental groups and non-governmental organisations.
Upon successful application, organisations and schools may receive potted plants by either of the following ways after the Show closes:

1. | Applicants must be charitable or non-profit making organisations registered in Hong Kong, or schools registered under the Education Ordinance. |
2. | Interested parties should return the completed application form by post or fax by 24 February 2020 (Monday). Quotas will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis. Late applications will not be entertained. |
3. | Successful applicants will be notified by 2 March 2020 (Monday). No notice will be given to unsuccessful applicants. |
