House Rules

 

House Rules for “Gala Show by Mainland Olympians” and “Sports Demonstrations by Mainland Olympians – Badminton, Gymnastics and Table-tennis”
  1. The Rules set out herein shall apply to the “Gala Show by Mainland Olympians” and “Sports Demonstrations by Mainland Olympians – Badminton, Gymnastics and Table-tennis” held at Queen Elizabeth Stadium (hereinafter “the venue”) on 30 August and 31 August 2024 respectively.

  2. Without prejudice to paragraph 3 below, spectators shall observe the Civic Centres Regulation (Cap. 132F), the Rules and/or other rules, regulations and conditions and instructions given by any public officer (including an officer of the Hong Kong Police Force, the Civil Aid Service or the Leisure and Cultural Services Department) or other staff at the venue.

  3. Spectators must abide by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region ( “HKSAR”), including but not limited to:

    (a)

    the Law of the People’s Republic of China on Safeguarding National Security in the HKSAR;

    (b)

    the Safeguarding National Security Ordinance;

    (c)

    other laws of the HKSAR in relation to the safeguarding of national security;

    (d)

    the National Flag and National Emblem Ordinance;

    (e)

    the Regional Flag and Regional Emblem Ordinance; and

    (f)

    the National Anthem Ordinance.

  4. Spectators must not engage in any act or activity in the venue that:

    (a)

    constitutes or causes, or is likely to constitute or cause, the occurrence of any offence endangering national security under the laws of the HKSAR;

    (b)

    is considered by any public officer to be contrary to the interest of national security;

    (c)

    is disrespectful or constitutes any insult to the national anthem, national flag, national emblem, regional flag or regional emblem; and

    (d)

    is prohibited under any law applicable to the HKSAR.

  5. All persons shall produce valid admission tickets or other valid passes on entry.

  6. No ticket collection service will be available at the venue on the event day. Spectators must collect their tickets at the URBTIX outlets or from the self-service ticketing kiosks elsewhere before the event day.  For details on the locations of the outlets and kiosks, please visit www.urbtix.hk.

  7. Real-name ticketing arrangements will be implemented for ticket sales. The ticket holder must produce proof of identity with photo which is consistent with the name on the ticket for identification purpose on entry, or admission shall be denied and no refund shall be made.  The ticket holder shall neither make unauthorised amendments to the information as printed on the ticket nor transfer the ticket in confidence for another’s use.

  8. Spectators must be seated in accordance with the seating numbers as specified in tickets. In addition, spectators shall not enter areas to which access by spectators are restricted except with the permission of the venue management.

  9. All persons entering the venue shall undergo security check. For the sake of public safety and order, spectators are prohibited from bringing the following items into the venue, except with the permission of the venue management and subject to such conditions as the venue management may impose:

    • any glassware or fragile objects which may pose potential dangers;

    • any alcoholic drinks or drinks in cans or glass bottles;

    • animals (except guide dogs or Police dogs);

    • any items which may be offensive or health hazardous or which can be used as weapons or used to impede the smooth progress of the event, e.g. knives, fireworks, laser pointers, compressed gas or liquid spray or large items;

    • any banners, posters, placards, leaflets, books, publications, publicity materials or display materials, the contents of which are commercial, abusive, threatening, discriminatory, religious or political;

    • mechanically or non-mechanically operated sound tools, g. loudspeakers, drums, gongs and the like; and any remote-controlled flying devices or toys.

  10. Spectators shall not perform any acts in the venue which may obstruct the view of other spectators and/or cause unnecessary obstruction and/or interference e.g. standing on spectators’ seats or using selfie sticks to the extent that affects other person.

  11. Spectators shall not perform any acts in the venue which may affect the smooth progress of the event, or acts that may harass, disturb or annoy any other person such as shouting, demonstrations, employing foul language, or throwing objects and the like.

  12. Spectators shall not display any materials with political content, including but not limited to clothes, banners, posters, placards, leaflets, books, publications, publicity materials or display materials.

  13. Some seats may have obstructed view.

  14. Any person who contravenes any law applicable to the HKSAR (including the Civic Centres Regulation (Cap. 132F)) and/or other rules, regulations and conditions or fails to comply with any provision of the Rules or any instruction given by any person pursuant to any law or the Rules may be denied entry to and/or evicted from the venue. In addition, a person may be evicted from the venue if any public officer or staff at the venue considers that the person has misconducted himself/herself at the venue.  No refund shall be made if any person is denied entry or evicted from the venue pursuant to the law or the Rules.

  15. The Rules are made in accordance with Section 105P of the Public Health and Municipal Services Ordinance (Cap. 132). In the event of any disputes about the Rules, the Presenter reserves the right to make final decision and interpretation.

House Rules for “Sports Demonstrations by Mainland Olympians - Diving and Swimming”
  1. The Rules set out herein shall apply to the “Sports Demonstrations by Mainland Olympians - Diving and Swimming” held at Victoria Park Swimming Pool (“the venue”) on 31 August 2024.

  2. Without prejudice to paragraph 3 below, spectators shall observe the Public Swimming Pools Regulation (Cap. 132BR), the Rules and/or other rules, regulations and conditions and instructions given by any public officer (including an officer of the Hong Kong Police Force, the Civil Aid Service or the Leisure and Cultural Services Department) or other staff at the venue.

  3. Spectators must abide by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region ( “HKSAR”), including but not limited to:
