To facilitate people with disabilities to enjoy entertainment events as well as participate in sports activities, the Queen Elizabeth Stadium has carried out barrier-free improvement works to facilities that include:
A. Facilities for wheelchair users |

1. | Wheelchair platforms at the arena to accommodate a maximum of 20 wheelchair users and 20 minders. Wheelchair users can make use of the lifts to reach these platforms. | |||||
2. | The Stadium is equipped with a lift to facilitate wheelchair users' access to the Arena and VIP lounge. | |||||

3. | There is a total of four accessible toilets inside the arena, and one accessible toilet in the VIP lounge. | |||||

4. | Tailor-made information desk at foyer, box office counter and Self-service Ticketing Kiosk. | |||||

B. Facilities for hearing impaired users |

1. | Induction loops at the Information Counter, BOX Office and arena seating area to assist hearing aid users. | |||||

2. | Visual fire alarm system installed at the venue. | |||||
C. Facilities for visually impaired users |

1. | Tactile guide paths installed inside the stadium. | |||||
2. | Braille maps installed near Information Counter. | |||||
3. | Non-slip nosing and handrails with Braille plates at most of the arena and stadium staircases. | |||||

4. | Guide dogs are trained as working dogs to assist the visually impaired user in his/her daily life. Queen Elizabeth Stadium welcomes visually impaired users to bring their guide dogs to enter the venue for participating events or watching programmes. |
