SHA congratulates HK cyclist on winning bronze medal at 12th National Games
The Secretary for Home Affairs, Mr Tsang Tak-sing, today (September 10) congratulated Hong Kong Cycling athlete Mr Cheung King-lok on winning a bronze medal in the Cycling Men's Individual Time Trial event at the 12th National Games in Liaoning Province.
In recognition of Mr Cheung's outstanding performance, Mr Tsang commended him for having displayed fabulous sportsmanship.
Hong Kong delegation so far has won one gold medal, three silver and three bronze medals at the 12th National Games.
Note: According to the National Games' award mechanism and score system, medals for rugby are counted as double, so the silver medal won by Hong Kong rugby team is taken as two by the organiser and its official website indicates that the Hong Kong delegation so far has won four silver medals.
