The 6th Hong Kong Games Launches

 

The 6th Hong Kong Games (HKG) will be held from April 23 to 28 May 2017. This biennial major territory-wide multi-sport event will include competitions for eight sports: athletics, badminton, basketball, futsal, swimming, table tennis, tennis and volleyball. In June this year, the 18 District Councils launched an open selection for athletes to participate in the HKG representing the districts. All interested Hong Kong citizens who love sports are welcome to register.

A series of public participation activities open to all citizens will also be held for the HKG. Major activities of the 6th HKG are as follows:

In the upcoming Sports Seminar and Elite Athletes’ Demonstration and Exchange Programmes, elite athletes will demonstrate their skills and share experience. Participants can experience the sports under the guidance of experienced coaches. Details are as follows:
