National Sports Associations with Outstanding Performance under the 2019-20 Sports Subvention Scheme

Since 2011, the LCSD has conducted a mid-year review annually on the performance of the subvented National Sports Associations (NSAs) under the Sports Subvention Scheme.

The LCSD assesses the performance of each NSA according to agreed targets such as how programmes and subventions are managed, while adopting four Key Performance Areas (KPAs) as assessment criteria: (i) organisation of programmes; (ii) development and promotion of sports; (iii) performance of athletes; and (iv) corporate governance and compliance.

In commendation of the outstanding performance of the NSAs in 2019-20, the LCSD has awarded certificates of commendation to four of the NSAs (in no order of preference): Hong Kong Table Tennis Association, Hong Kong Badminton Association Limited, Hong Kong Squash and Hong Kong Golf Association Limited. The LCSD takes this opportunity to congratulate the NSAs and wishes to see that all NSAs will remain relentless to improve performance in promoting sports development in Hong Kong.
