The Masters Games, organised by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) biennially, is targeted at people aged 35 or above. The Games emphasises participation and enjoyment rather than winning prizes. It also offers participants the opportunity to compete against people of similar age to sustain their interest in sports activities. In order to encourage participants to be actively involved in the games and to promote sports activities, we will arrange them to act as umpires in the preliminary round of some competitions.
This year, a total of 6 sports events comprising Badminton, Distance Run, Swimming, Table Tennis, Tai Chi and Tennis Competition will be held between July and November 2016.
