Booking Arrangements

The Tai Po Civic Centre has been closed from November 2021 for facility upgrading works, and would be reopen by phases from the 2nd quarter of 2025 with a brand-new look to provide professional services for you.

 

Major Facilities: Auditorium / Black Box Theatre

(the booking arrangements and date for accepting applications will be further announced)

• Ordinary bookings are accepted not less than 3 months but not more than 7 months in advance of the month of hire.
• Late bookings will be considered upon closing of the ordinary booking period and processed collectively subject to operational feasibility and in accordance with the criteria as for the ordinary booking applications.

Minor Facilities: Function Rooms

(booking applications will be accepted from 1 March 2025)

• Ordinary bookings are accepted twice a year in January and July for a maximum period of half-year 6 months in advance. This means that :

  Ordinary Booking Submission Month	Booking Period
  January	July to December of the same year
  July	January to June of the following year

  In general, it requires two months to process the booking applications of Rehearsal Room / Art Studio / Music Practice Rooms.

• Late bookings will be considered upon closing of the ordinary booking period and processed on a first-come-first-served basis.

e-Application / Payment

Booking of the 16 performance venues managed by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department and hire charges payment can now be done through e-APS on the internet, anytime, anywhere! Through e-APS, venue bookings are just one-click away!
