Arts in Bloom

Ever since its opening, Tsuen Wan Town Hall has been a popular performance venue for arts groups and artists at home and abroad.  Numerous concerts by orchestras and choirs and a wide array of theatrical productions, Chinese operatic works, dances, films and exhibitions were staged over the past decades.  It also played venue to some of the most exciting arts festivals in Hong Kong, namely Tsuen Wan Arts Festival, Regional Council Festival, Hong Kong Arts Festival and Asian Arts Festival, bringing stunning performances to local residents and the community at large.

Many professional performance companies including the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra, Hong Kong Sinfonietta, Hong Kong Dance Company, Hong Kong Ballet, Hong Kong Repertory Theatre and Chung Ying Theatre Company staged astonishing performances for audiences’ enjoyment at Tsuen Wan Town Hall. Among them, the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra has been staging and recording concerts here frequently over the decades.
