Tsuen Wan Town Hall (TWTH) opened on 7 February 1980 marked the first multi-purpose performance venue in the New Territories. The centrally located TWTH has been the cultural hotspot in the Tsuen Wan district.
Vintage photos, newspaper clippings, posters and artists’ autographs piece together the story of TWTH and bring back memories of some of the most appealing performances staged at the venue. Snapshots capturing district arts organisations, local arts groups and our venue partners onstage demonstrate our contribution to the arts development in Hong Kong. Juxtaposing the past and present images of the venue show how much we take pride in the improvement made in enhancing facilities and service quality during the past 40 years.
A series of improvement works have been scheduled at the 40th Anniversary juncture to prove our commitment to continuously uplift our facilities and service. Looking ahead, TWTH will keep our post and be dedicated to promote the arts development in the community.
