The Venue Partnership Scheme, rolled out in April 2009 by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, aims to foster a partnership between the performance venues and arts groups/organisations to enhance the artistic image and character of the venue and its partner, broaden the audience base and optimise the usage of facilities. It also targets at developing venue-based marketing strategies, encouraging community involvement in the development of the arts and promoting the arts in the community. Hong Kong Dance Company and Ming Ri Institute For Arts Education were the first venue partners of Tsuen Wan Town Hall when the Scheme was launched. As the fourth round of the Scheme commenced in April 2018, apart from Ming Ri Institute For Arts Education, the Town Hall now has Hong Kong Children’s Musical Theatre, Millennium Youth Orchestra and Sound of Singers Group as its venue partners.
