During the 6th Hong Kong Games (HKG), various community involvement activities have been organised to enable members of the public to participate in and support the HKG in many different ways. Among them, the “Dynamic Moments Photo Contest”, held between 8 January and 28 May 2017, is aimed to encourage photography enthusiasts to take pictures of the fascinating scenes at various events of the 6th HKG and capture the dynamic moments of the participants. The results of the voting and guessing activities were announced at the 6th Hong Kong Games Closing cum Prize Presentation Ceremony held on 28 May 2017. Lucky draws were held separately for online and paper vote submissions during the event. The 6th Hong Kong Games Tennis Competition scheduled today (13 May) at Victoria Park Tennis Court has been cancelled due to inclement weather. The competition is rescheduled to be held on 14 May (Sunday) at Victoria Park Tennis Court.

The Finals of the 6th Hong Kong Games Badminton Competition will be held on 13 and 14 May (Saturday and Sunday) at the Queen Elizabeth Stadium. Free admission tickets are available at the District Leisure Services Offices of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department from 8:30am of 10 May (Wednesday), with a limit of two tickets per person. Members of the public can also obtain free admission tickets at the Queen Elizabeth Stadium on the day of the competition on a first-come-first-served basis. Spectators joining the prize quiz will have a chance to win two round trip air tickets sponsored by Hong Kong Express.

Semi-finals of the 6th Hong Kong Games Wheelchair Basketball Challenge will be held from 10:30am this Sunday (14 May) at Sun Yat Sen Memorial Park Sports Centre. For details, please click here.

The 6th Hong Kong Games (HKG) is heading to the phase of quarter-finals and finals, in which the quarter-finals of badminton competitions are taken place at the Kowloon Park Sports Centre starting 4 May (Thursday). Members of the public are welcome to watch the competitions and cheer for the contestants.
A series of four huge ball game props, representing badminton, table tennis, tennis and futsal, are newly installed at Kowloon Park Arcade. Spectators will be given a limited edition of souvenir by posting and sharing their photos or videos of the HKG competitions through social media (e.g. Facebook and Instagram with suggested hashtags #6thHKG #6thhongkonggames #hongkonggames) on a first-come, first-served basis.
