Torch Relay for the 7th National Intercity Games

The launching ceremony of the 7th NIG Torch Relay is scheduled to take place at Bayi Square, Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province]٫nK@s^at 8am on 16 September 2011. Representatives of 56 participating cities and 11 municipalities of JiangXi Province will gather to welcome and receive the flames.

The flames extracted from the following five places:

  1. }ѹ@a (which means a flame denoting the dawn of history) from Jing Gang Shan on 8 July
  2. Ѱʦa (which means a flame of magnificence and grandeur) from Nanchang Bayi Qi Yi Ji Nian Huan on 1 August
  3. ䷽ (which means a flame of gratitude) from Ruijun on 11 August
  4. uBƥ (which means a flame denoting the dawn of labour movement) from Anyuanlu on 22 August
  5. ﭲ}񤧤 (which means a flame denoting the reform and open policy) from Xinjian on 27 August

will be united at Bayi Square, to form the ֤ (which means the light of happiness) on 16 September, and the torch will then be carried throughout 11 municipalities of Jiangxi Province from 3 to 13 October. The flame will put back into the tinder lamp first and then light up the main torch again during the Opening Ceremony of the 7th NIG on 16 October 2011.
