Introduction of the playground |
|
Public's views on the playground design has been solicited from questionnaire and surveys and the design adopted "Nature" as its theme, with "Water", "Sand" and "Plants" as the main design elements. There are three themed areas in the playground, namely “Sandy Bunker”, “Jungle Meadow”, and “Oasis Spring”. Various types of swings and slides of different heights with inclusive consideration are provided in the play space to enable children of different ages and abilities can enjoy the fun of playing together in the play space.
Children, as the users of the playground, were invited by LCSD in 2020-21 to take part in thematic designs. Some of the paintings have been integrated into the design of Splash Paradise and children can have more fun while playing. |
