The Yau Ma Tei Theatre is closed from September 2022 onwards in connection with the Construction of Yau Ma Tei Theatre Phase 2. The Theatre and the Phase 2 are expected to provide you with better services in 2026. Below information are just for archival references.

 

To facilitate the general public with different needs to participate in cultural and arts activities, Yau Ma Tei Theatre provides the following barrier free facilities and services for people with disabilities:
Public Area: Automatic door and ramps for wheelchair users at main entrance of Yau Ma Tei Theatre
Tactile guide path and Braille
Audio and visual signals of the emergency alarm system
Accessible toilet
Theatre: Designated 4 spaces convenient for wheelchair users
Audio and visual signals of the emergency alarm system
Induction loop system for hearing-impaired
Box Office: Box office counter with height suitable for wheelchair users
Induction loop system at the box office counter for hearing-impaired
Access Officer: The Access Officer of this venue is Mr. Eric LEUNG, Manager (Yau Ma Tei Theatre), who can be reached at 3417 5661. During non-office hours, please contact the Duty Manager at 2264 8108.
