Library

Located at the Hong Kong City Hall High Block, the City Hall Public Library provides lending and reference library services to meet the community's need for knowledge, information and research, life-long learning, continuous education and profitable use of leisure time, and promotes local literary arts. In addition to the Adult Library, the Children’s Library, the Reference Library, the Newspapers and Periodicals Room, the Multimedia Resource Centre and the Computer and Information Centre, the Library has also set up special reference libraries and thematic collections, such as the Business and Industry Library, the Creativity and Innovation Resource Centre and the Basic Law Library. In mid-2014, the Cultural and Historical Resources Corner of Central and Western District was also established to provide information on the culture, history and community development of the District.
