Booking Arrangement

For enhancement of the cultural facilities and services for our venue users, the Sai Wan Ho Civic Centre (SWHCC) is temporarily closed from 1 April 2022 onwards for the renovation and improvement project. SWHCC is expected to provide professional services for you in mid-2025 with a brand new look. The information below is for reference only.

 

Major Facilities : Theatre/Cultural Activities Hall

• Ordinary bookings are accepted not less than 3 months but not more than 7 months in advance of the month of hire.
• Late bookings will be considered upon closing of the ordinary booking period and processed collectively subject to operational feasibility and in accordance with the criteria as for the ordinary booking applications.

Minor Facilities: Art Studios/Music Practice Rooms

• Ordinary bookings are accepted twice a year in January and July for a maximum period of half-year 6 months in advance. This means that :

  Ordinary Booking Submission Month	Booking Period
  January	July to December of the same year
  July	January to June of the following year

  In general, it requires two months to process the booking applications of Art Studios / Music Practice Rooms.

• Late bookings will be considered upon closing of the ordinary booking period and processed on a first-come-first-served basis.

  October	January to June of the following year

e-Application / Payment

Booking of the 16 performance venues managed by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department and hire charges payment can now be done through e-APS on the internet, anytime, anywhere! Through e-APS, venue bookings are just one-click away!
