This is a story about the future, and the future
is never too soon, especially for young people.
On a desolated hill stands a wishing tree to be
chopped down on the day after. A boy, who has no fantasy but a head
full of pipe dreams, travels a long way to pay this tree a visit.
He meets an unattractive but practical girl who sells wishing charms
under the tree. The two come to a mutual agreement that the boy
will not leave until the first business deal is struck; the boy
doesn't believe in the legend of the wishing tree - only to be laughed
at by the girl. It's dawn! The wishes on the tree appear one by
one, at this very moment - the wishing tree, the boy, the girl and
the stories on the wishing charms - are all about to reach the turning
point of their destiny...
