Ginger Lily is extensively growing on marshes. It blooms from August to December. Its petals are white, with the basal part yellow. Its flowers are beautiful and fragrant. Therefore it is often been cultivated in large scale and harvested for sale in the market. Unlike edible ginger, the rhizome of Ginger Lily is only used as medicinal herb for treatment of colds, headache, body aches, rheumatism, traumatic injury, etc
