Frangipani is native to Central America. It is so named because its petals are white in the outer part and yellow in the inner part, looks like an egg. In winter, all the leaves fall off, leaving the bare branch, similar to the antler. Therefore, it is also named “Antler Tree”. In South China, Frangipani is used to make Chinese Herbal Tea. It is an ingredient of the famous Five Flower Tea. In Bali, Indonesia, Frangipani is popularly used in offerings and for decorations.
