Leisure Services Branch

The Leisure Services Branch comprises three divisions which are responsible for the planning, provision and management of leisure facilities, organising of recreation and sports programmes, promotion of sports, provision of horticultural, landscaping, arboricultural and zoological services, management of sports turf, promotion of green awareness, and administration of subvention to local bodies for organising sports and leisure activities.

  • Managing resources and staff for the provision of amenities, recreation and sports services in the New Territories and the outlying islands, and directing all aspects of district level operations including implementation of approved community recreation and sports programmes and management of leisure facilities

Cultural Services Branch

The Cultural Services Branch comprises three divisions which are responsible for the planning and management of museums, performance venues, public libraries and indoor stadia; promotion and presentation of museum exhibitions, arts festivals, and visual, film, literary and performing arts programmes and intangible cultural heritage activities; conservation of cultural heritage; management of the Music Office and operation of the URBTIX ticketing system.
