Trial Scheme On Opening Up The Arena Of Selected Sports Centres For Booking By Individuals For New Sports Activities
The Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) has been committed to promoting the development of various sports activities. Given that a number of new sports activities have become popular in recent years, a trial scheme will be launched on 9 October 2019 to open up the arenas of 6 LCSD’s sports centres for booking by members of the public on a first-come, first-served basis through the Leisure Link computerised booking system. Bookings can be made for the use of the arenas for 7 specific activities, including dodgeball, dodgebee, kin-ball, korfball, tchoukball, pickleball and gateball, during non-peak hours* within 7 days.
