Grass Pitches

Grass pitches are provided by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department in the urban area and the New Territories. There are natural and artificial turf pitches for soccer, rugby, cricket, hockey and  baseball activities. Floodlights are normally provided for use at night time.

Natural Turf Surfaces

In order to maintain the quality of the turf in the grass pitch for use by the public, natural grass pitch normally has a quota of 60 sessions in a month with a minimum of 30 sessions allocated for individual bookings through the Leisure Link System. The number of sessions for use in a month may be adjusted by the venue management according to the condition of the turf.
